Pipefitter

Position Overview: The Pipe Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, testing and maintaining pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, and industrial production and processing systems.
Key Responsibilities: Cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipe, valves, and fittings Read P&ID diagrams, blueprints, or specifications to determine the type and size of pipe needed Inspect, examine, and test installed pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for compliance with specifications. Operate power industrial trucks to transport materials, tools, and equipment. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment Weld, braze, solder, or fusion weld components to assemble pipe systems and pipe supports. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of one year experience in pipefitting and/or steel manufacturing Experience with GTAW and GMAW welding processes Certification in AWS and/or ASME Excellent Skills Matrix, Problem Solving and Working with Teams Benefits Health,
