Driven Loyal Positive Honest Job Description:  We're looking for someone to join our mechanical insulation team! We're seeking an experienced mechanical insulator or an individual interested in learning the trade. JRT works in a wide variety of commercial and industrial industries with projects that include food processing, large warehouses, schools, wastewater treatment plants, general commercial structures, refrigeration facilities and manufacturing plants to name a few.  The job duties will include:
Measure and cut insulation for covering pipe, duct & equipment Remove worn, damaged, or old insulation from pipe, duct & equipment. Determine the amount and types of insulation needed, and best method of installation. Read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements. Apply sealants or other protective coatings. Operator scissor lifts be comfortable working in heights Material handling - Moving material around the job site. Housekeeping - Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area on the job.
