Responsibilities
• Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.• Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.• Coordinates daily patient flow activities.• Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.• Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.• Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.• Associate's degree Preferred• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
