Responsibilities
• Provide general Internal Medicine care of inpatient services• Participation in educational activities related to the Internal Medicine residency program• Collaboration with healthcare providers• Smooth transition of patients from inpatient to outpatient settings• Expertise in multispecialty and patient care-related discussions• Inpatient General Internal Medicine consultation services• Supervision and education of medical consultation house staff• Participate in ongoing process improvements• Inter-hospital transfers of patients• Medical diagnostic evaluation and initial assessment of patients
Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship• Proficiency in written and spoken English• Completed residency training• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine• Board certification may be required• Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent• Physical requirements
