Responsibilities SUMMARY – Responsible for performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physician's assistants in collaboration with the Cardiology Program Director. Primary point of contact and
assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.
Qualifications MINIMUM Background in pre-med. Degree as a Physician Assistant
Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.
Must hold and maintain:
(1) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License,
(2) NCCPA – National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant,
(3) Valid DEA registration,
(4) American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and
(5) American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
Pay Range $56.83 – $82.40 /hour
