Responsibilities
• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision and direction of collaborating physicians• Assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe, counsel, and instruct patients and families• Ensure compliance with Nurse Practitioner Protocols and regulations governing APNs• Coordinate Hospitalist program including fiscal accountability, time, and resources• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Current APN licensure in Arkansas• Documentation compliant with the State Nursing Board of satisfactory completion of a nurse practitioner educational program and preceptorship• Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and DEA registration• Experience in APN patient care• Acute Care certification required
