Outpatient Physical TherapistAtrium Medical Center- Outpatient Sports Medicine / Atrium YMCA Clinic LocationFull Time* Sign-On Bonus Available!The Licensed Physical Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient's progress. The PT performs physical therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological and work related impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The PT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities.This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Degree in physical therapy from an accredited PT program.Licensure: Current physical therapy license in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.Certification: Current CPR certification.Experience: May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.Skills/Other: Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned. Looking for Vestibular Rehabilitation background or interest.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS* Strength: Ability to lift/manipulate 50 pounds.* Stooping/bending/Standing/Sitting/Reaching: Frequent* Handling: Universal precautions are taken during each patient interaction to minimize the risk of disease transfer.* Talking: Fluent in English.* Hearing: Acute enough to hear normal conversation with or without hearing aids.* Vision: Visual acuity of 20/20near, 20/40 far vision with or without glasses, and the ability to use computer terminals and printed materials.* Other: Able to work in a fast paced environment with many interruptions.
