Responsibilities
• Reviewing health and medical histories, examining patients• Consulting with referring physicians and healthcare team• Developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs• Assisting patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment• Educating patients on the benefits of PT and home exercises• Overseeing the work of PTAs with patients• Documenting treatments accurately and timely• Collaborating with other PTs and healthcare professionals• Communicating effectively with staff and patients• Creating an excellent patient experience
Requirements
• Graduation from an Accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy Program (DPT)• Physical Therapy License in WA• Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required
