HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness - Blacksville WV Outpatient Orthopedics Physical Therapist New Graduate Physical Therapist - WELCOMED! HealthWorks in Blacksville, WV is seeking a FULL time physical therapist who are passionate about orthopedics. New graduate physical therapists (PTs) are welcome to apply. We have an additional clinician onsite treating everyone from teens through geriatrics. We offer vestibular, concussion and fall prevention rehabilitative services on top of general ortho. We have 10 patient per day expectations with most averaging 10-12 patients in an eight hour day. Evals are 1:1 for an hour and visits 30-45 minutes, depending on the patient's needs.
This is a full time physical therapist position with a 40 hour work week. Three evenings treating until 630PM are required, your last patient is scheduled an hour prior. NO weekends. Schedule: 40 hour work week Monday - Friday treating until 630PM three times a week.
Compensation: starting at $72,000 commensurate with experience

Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise. Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations. Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly. Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times. Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
