Job Description
Are you a licensed and compassionate Physical Therapist with a dedication for helping the elderly? If so, myPTsolutions is looking for a Physical Therapist for our client serving the frail elderly patients in the Rivertown area near downtown Detroit. This job is working Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4pm. The ideal candidate will be interested in becoming a permanent hire. After the initial 13 weeks working as a travel PT, we will help you transition to become a permanent employee.
Compensation and Benefits of the Physical Therapist
Salary: $44 - $48 per hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*

*Eligibility for these benefits depends on meeting various requirements. Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
Complete initial and periodic assessments including home and facility assessments as needed.
Communicate participant changes to team members and document in plan of care.
Performs other related duties a determined by Rehabilitation Manager and site assignments, which may include aspects of program development and quality improvement projects.
Maintains clinical productivity standards.
Maintains awareness of participant safety issues within the clinic and in use of equipment. Requirements of the Physical Therapist
Prefer a therapist with two years of experience working with frail or elderly
Valid Michigan state PT License
Physical Therapy degree (Bachelor, Master or Doctoral)
