Do you have a passion for making people feel comfortable when they are anxious? Do you enjoy being part of a team that puts patient care and safety first? Then NMC Health is the place for you and our busy medical testing laboratory is currently seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Phlebotomist Technician . In this role, you will perform various tasks to support the laboratory technical staff, including blood specimen collection, specimen procurement, specimen processing, lab testing, send outs and the maintenance of quality assurance records. You will work collaboratively with all patients and clinical staff in accordance with department requirements and quality standards. On a daily basis you will also have the opportunity to deliver excellent patient service, answer patient questions, act as a resource for patient information and strengthen the relationship between the patient and our entire medical facility. 
This third shift position provides phlebotomy services for all aged patients in any hospital location including emergency department and local off-site collections at nursing facilities as a member of a fast-paced team effort of highly dedicated staff members.
Effective 6/21/23 there is no longer a need for either vaccination confirmation or a medical/religious exemption.
