Responsible for skillful and appropriate specimen collection, by all methods, age groups, and outpatient settings. The position must record all outpatient lab orders and assist outpatient nursing services with order entry and collection of patient specimens. monitors Care Manager and LIS interface order entry for error messages, cancellations. handles routine send-out processing for reference laboratory work; assist with inpatient specimen processing and ordering if needed.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
