Questions before applying? Role: The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the Health Center's pharmacy. This position works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to perform various duties related to medication preparation, inventory management, receiving and sending prescriptions, insurance claims, and customer service.

Minimum Requirements: Experience: On-the-job training is available for this position. May not possess any felony convictions and must not be listed on the OIG list of Excluded Individuals.
Education: HS Diploma/GED. Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from a nationally recognized certification board or willing to obtain within 6 months of Hire. Must have BCLS (Basic CPR Life Support) or willing to obtain within one year of hire.

Knowledge :
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Knowledge of universal precautions for the prevention of communicable diseases. Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing & managing files and records. Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
