Responsibilities
• Answer multi-line phones and direct callers or handle their needs• Greet patients, obtain insurance information, and dispense medication• Provide patients with forms, office policies, and required documents• Process payments for co-pays or over the counter purchases• Keep and maintain records for patients, medication, equipment, and invoices• Clean equipment and workspace according to guidelines• Assist with cleaning of the pharmacy• Assist with special projects and program development• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cooperation and enthusiasm• Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating patience and tact• Demonstrate responsibility, integrity, and self-improvement• Embrace and exemplify GVH core values, mission, and vision• Comply with HIPPA and complete required trainings and vaccinations• Call patients to remind them of medications and provide support and guidance• Collect patient and insurance information, including prescription history• Work as a team and show respect towards co-workers
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED required• 1+ years' experience in pharmacy/medical field preferred• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software
