Responsibilities
• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations• Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and positive patient experience• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care• Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers• Train, coach, and manage performance of pharmacy technicians• Resolve customer complaints and provide assistance• Manage pharmacy daily schedule and workflow• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations• Maintain pharmacy inventory and equipment• Process insurance claims and resolve customer issues• Analyze and improve pharmacy financials and operational quality• Lead performance management of technicians• Assist in monitoring licensures and certifications• Provide training and development opportunities for team members• Communicate with pharmacy team and participate in store meetings
Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent• PTCB or ExCPT certification• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician• Fluent in English• Willingness to work flexible schedule• Previous people management/leadership experience preferred• Previous work experience with Walgreens preferred
