Responsibilities
• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities• Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and provide a positive patient experience• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions• Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within company policies and regulations• Select, schedule, and develop pharmacy technician personnel• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians• Resolve customer complaints and respond to non-clinical questions• Develop strong customer relationships by anticipating needs and offering services• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation• Adhere to company policies and regulations, and ensure compliance in pharmacy operations
Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent• PTCB or ExCPT certification• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
