Provides pharmacy consulting services with empathy to patients regarding the effective usage of medications and awareness with drug interactions.Offers preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.Responsible for ensuring the proper counseling of patients, dispensing medications, and overseeing pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
• Engaging and assisting patients with products and services• Resolving patient issues and ensuring a positive patient experience• Promoting healthcare services offered through Walgreens• Performing pharmacist tasks including compounding and medication management• Ensuring the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies• Collaborating with Store Manager to develop new strategic business opportunities• Maintaining knowledge of pharmacy systems and technology• Processing insurance claims and conducting 3rd party audits• Clarifying prescribed medications and answering medical provider questions• Managing the maintenance and improvement of the pharmacy department
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience and strong knowledge of applicable laws• Average rating of at least 3.0 on leadership behaviors in last performance review• No written disciplinary actions in the last 12 months (Internal candidates only)
