Responsibilities
• Engaging and assisting customers with products and services• Resolving customer issues and ensuring a positive experience• Developing relationships with valuable customers and offering healthcare services• Counseling patients on medicine usage, side effects, and interactions• Performing pharmacist tasks including compounding and medication management• Ensuring pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations and company policies• Opening and closing the pharmacy and shift change duties• Processing insurance claims and following up with insurance companies• Analyzing performance data and implementing procedures for asset protection and inventory management• Building relationships with the local medical community and participating in outreach activities
Requirements
• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire• Experience with prescription dispensing and knowledge of controlled substance laws• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire
