Responsibilities
• Engages customers and patients, resolves issues, and offers assistance with products and services• Counsels patients on medication usage and side effects• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding and drug therapy reviews• Ensures pharmacy operates within regulations and company policies• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements• Processes insurance claims and follows up with insurance companies• Performs retail, clinical, and wellness services• Analyzes performance data and develops relationships with healthcare providers• Assists with staff hiring, training, and performance management• Maintains knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare
Requirements
• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree and pharmacist licensure• Experience with prescription dispensing and controlled substance laws• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one• Knowledge of retail and management best practices
