Responsibilities
• Engages customers and patients, resolving customer issues and answering questions• Develops relationships with valuable customers and offers healthcare services• Counsels patients on medication usage and manages drug therapy• Ensures pharmacy operates within regulations and company standards• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements• Processes insurance claims and follows up with insurance companies• Coordinates performance data analysis and supports pharmacy manager• Builds relationships with local medical community and participates in outreach activities• Assists with staff hiring, training, and performance management• Maintains knowledge and skills through reading and professional development
Requirements
• Must obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree before start date• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire• Experience with prescription dispensing and controlled substance laws• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire
