The Space Systems Group, part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, provides timely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force's Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), one of the three designated Field Commands under USSF. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. We provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations which are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities. SPA has an immediate need for a Personnel Analyst.
About the Position This position interacts with Space Systems Command and BZ leadership and their staff on a daily basis. The individual will provide personnel support to Space Force customers in El Segundo, CA. You will be in the premier space acquisition organization responsible for delivering space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners. Key duties associated with this position include:
Apply critical thinking and experience to develop solutions for our customer's most challenging issues. Provide calendar support to the SES Deputy Director and her O-6 Deputy, who is dual-hatted as the BZR Division Chief. Organize logistical issues to support customer meetings and travel to include providing read-ahead materials and tracking the status of action items. Support customers with official travel using the Defense Travel System tool. Understand Department of Defense, Air Force, and Space Force organizations, processes, procedures, instructions, and guidance. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Salary pay range: 100k-140k annually
Required qualifications Completion of an Associate's degree in a related field 10 or more years of experience including administrative support to senior leaders Experience using DoD, Air Force, and Space Force training tools and systems Expertise using MS Office applications and software US Citizenship and possess an active DoD Secret clearance Preferred qualifications Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience supporting flag-level or equivalent corporate executives 20 or more years of relevant experience Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance
