Responsibilities
• Provide quality customer service within the Meat Market Department• Maintain standards in accordance with the standard practice manual• Maximize sales through excellent customer service• Minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practice• Operate all Meat Market Department equipment safely• Wrap, weigh, price, label, and stock fresh meat cases• Stock and rotate fresh fish, shellfish, and pre-cooked seafood items• Maintain proper case merchandising and allocation• Set up ice beds• Order, receive, prepare, condition, and display merchandise according to policies and guidelines
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements• Ability to use technical information to solve problems• Must meet minimum age requirements• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position
