Pe Electrical Engineer

Job Description
• Work with Sales team, Engineers, Revit/CAD operators, and Production personal to complete Project within the Production Schedule • Ensure electrical designs comply with product specifications and codes • Effectively interpreting blueprint/ technical drawings • Utilize Revit/CAD software to review and enhance drawings • This position will require high attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and staff. Prior hands-on electrical experience would be of value in this position. • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary to needs of Production • Follow Guidelines to Maintain a Safe & Clean Working Environment
Work Experience B.S. in Electrical Engineering • Professional Engineering License in the State of Alabama • Four or more years of electrical design experience • Capable of designing and troubleshooting simple and complex electrical systems • Knowledge and experience in industrial/commercial electrical design for AC/DC systems necessary to support protective relay and/or communications equipment. • Knowledge of protective relaying schematics and/or prior control building or communication shelter design experience • Ability to interpret project specifications and deliver a compliant design package, accurate bill of materials, and other technical detail drawings • The ability to perform design quality reviews and work with high attention to detail and accuracy • Capable of interpreting project specifications and delivering a compliant design package, accurate bill of materials, and other technical detail drawings. • Experience drafting the electrical design work • Self-starting work ethic and ability to work with minimal direction to achieve project submittal deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and staff
