OVERVIEW OF THE PAYROLL SUPERVISOR ROLE:

The Payroll Supervisor supervises a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Oversee and process the end-to-end payroll process, including but not limited to payroll calculations, tax withholding, deductions, and benefit contributions.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws, staying up-to-date on changes and implementing necessary adjustments.

Payroll Supervisor reviews and reconciles payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Manage payroll-related reporting requirements, including preparing and analyzing payroll reports for management and external stakeholders.

Payroll Supervisor implements and maintains payroll systems and software, optimizing functionality and efficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAYROLL SUPERVISOR ROLE:

At least 5 years of previous payroll experience

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Bachelor's degree is nice but not required for Payroll Supervisor role.

Strong excel skills
