Job Description Job Summary Perform a variety of support tasks associated with payroll operations. Process wage and salary payments, and audit time/data entries. Calculate overpayments and assist with the mass loading of payroll files into the system. Handle general inquiries regarding payroll.
Responsibilities Enter or code various payroll transactions such as time worked data into automated or manual information systems. Review and audit payroll documents received for compliance with policies and procedures set by RRD. Recognize and correct apparent discrepancies/deviations. Assist with customer service inquiries. Verify the accuracy of data by performing audits within the payroll cycle. Respond to written inquiries for verifications of standard payroll procedures and problems. Maintain safe and accurate storage of payroll records. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned. Preparation of records for audit requests for records with direction by management. Administer reversal, manual entries and W2 resets. Qualifications High School or GED with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant administrative/operational support in an office environment. Detailed-oriented in data entry and the review of data entered by others, such as time worked data into automated or manual information systems. Technology experience including computers and software programs such as MS Office and G-Suite. Customer service oriented with ability to respond to inquiries with clear and concise responses, both written and verbal. Organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and the ability to coordinate phases of work with others. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and UKG Dimensions preferred. Additional Information The national pay range for this role is $37800 - $67400 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
