Payroll Associate

Position Overview: The Payroll Associate will be responsible for all payroll processing and payroll tax compliance functions for a multi-state organization. This position is a key contributor to the accounting team and will work closely with the Accounting Manager and other members of the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform payroll processing including processing of payroll data, calculating wages, and maintaining employee records Ensure accurate and timely payroll compliance with state and federal regulations Perform payroll tax calculations and filings Assist the Accounting Manager in reconciling payroll accounts and preparing payroll journal entries Maintain payroll system and process changes as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 2+ years of payroll experience Knowledge of payroll best practices Knowledge of payroll tax compliance and general ledger accounting Excellent organizational and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Benefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
