The Payroll Analyst is responsible for initiating and reviewing payroll processing, overseeing the local time and labor system, maintaining payroll procedures and documentation, auditing reports, guiding payroll processing activities, and supporting Human Resources technology projects.
Responsibilities: Administer time management system activities Maintain schedules and weekly reporting activities, review export activities, and troubleshoot payroll errors while reconciling the payroll run Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates and other payroll processing items Produce and maintain system documentation, train new users, and assist with troubleshooting issues Coordinate with other HR groups to review the requirements for the administration of special programs, garnishment, and wage assignments Consult the broader HR Team on payroll-specific topics Maintain payroll records Develop requirements for system enhancements, create test plans, and support system implementation and expansion activities and reoccurring processing Formulate, measure, track, and report a clear view of payroll activities concerning processing time, accuracy rate, costs, and leave balances Participate in transformational projects related to payroll, compensation, or benefits Qualifikationen

Position can be seated out of Fort Worth, TX or Farmington Hills, MI.
Qualifications: 2+ years of payroll experience required, including administration, reporting, and analysis of payroll data Experience working with Ceridian/Dayforce preferred Strong understanding of payroll rules, including federal and state requirements Proficiency with Excel, Word, as well as other personal computer skills required Excellent ability to synthesize data and present it to executives as well as HR partners to drive decision-making High degree of analytical capability with proven ability to identify challenges, structure recommendations, and provide insights to enable business transformation Passion for problem-solving and high intellectual curiosity Excellent communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written skills to process and present information timely and accurately to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment Effective interpersonal skills, a customer-service focus, and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment Posting Statement
