Are you a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting? We are currently seeking a Payroll/Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll/Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and maintaining accurate accounting records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization.
Associate's degree in accounting with considerable years of experience in payroll or a combination of equivalent education and experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and accounting in a manufacturing setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills or Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Experience with ADP or other payroll processing software is a plus Familiarity with general accounting principles and procedures is a plus Payroll
Process payroll for a large number of employees on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments Maintain payroll records including earnings, deductions, and taxes Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management and auditors Stay updated on federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding payroll, ensuring compliance at all times Accounting
Review corporate monthly accounting reports for on time submission and deadlines Accurately process vendor invoices ensuring timely processing Process accrued, recurring monthly expenses Run and post customer invoices daily to capture revenue Update resale dashboard daily Whether you are just getting started or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package to include generous compensation based on market standards, healthcare, wellness, adoption assistance, discounted stock purchase, career development and recognition programs.
