Providing whole-person care and treatment that is powered by faith, AdventHealth Littleton serves our local and regional communities in providing essential health care needs, including innovative neurology, orthopedic, cardiology and urology services, as well as the BirthPlace and acclaimed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). We are also a destination hospital for highly specialized care in emergency & trauma services, neurosciences, the Breast Care Center, and more. AdventHealth Littleton's focus on safety, sustainability, and excellent clinical performance has earned awards and recognition for programs in cardiac services, neurology, stroke, geriatric care, and more. The role you'll contribute: Assist the staff by performing tasks related to the transport of patients, and indirect patient care. Provide an effective method for the delivery of necessary supplies and items for continuous patient care . The value you'll bring to the team: Performs the safe, timely transport of patients interdepartmentally and upon discharge. Conducts rounds for the proper, timely delivery and pickup of various items such as supplies, records, specimens, x-rays, orders and equipment. Promptly responds to stat calls and meets requests of clinical staff Responds to calls regarding violent patients and assists in take down Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Education: High School Diploma or GED Current BLS certified by American Heart Association Experience: Previous experience as nurse assistant preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
