Job Summary: The Patient Care Specialist located at the Bristol Family Medicine Clinic works under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager performing clinical duties.
Work performed involves knowledge of the basic principles and practices of nursing, and a variety of tasks in an ambulatory health care setting including:
Assisting professional nurses in all aspects of clinical care
Administering injections
Performing EKG's
Gathering specimens
Assisting with special procedures and general workups
Performing other related non-professional nursing and clerical duties as required.
