Responsibilities
• Assisting in patient exercise programs, cleaning, stocking, inventory, etc.• Scheduling, answering phone calls, communication with MDs and other departments, etc.• Greeting patients, operating telephone console, scheduling appointments, etc.• Collecting co-payments, calling patients who have missed appointments, assisting therapists with laundry, etc.• Calling insurance companies, printing medical records, updating referral database, etc.
Requirements
• Friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic, positive team player with excellent communication skills• Organized, responsible, detail-oriented individual accountable for scheduling appointments and ensuring payment• Confident, good listener who actively grows the business by obtaining referrals• Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment• Ability to provide equipment and supplies, check and order inventory• Ability to assist clinicians and prepare hot packs, set up exercise equipment• Experience operating a multi-line telephone system, accessing data using a computerized records system, cashiering, seating for long periods of time, and lifting up to 30 pounds
