Responsibilities
• Learn and prepare dessert and baked goods items on the menu• Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules• Refer to daily prep list and closing checklist for assigned duties• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation• Report product shortages, equipment problems, and food quality issues• Participate in scheduled employee meetings• Perform other assigned duties• Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and restaurant employees• Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays• Understand and follow basic cooking directions
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pastry kitchen• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills• Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures• Clear communication skills• Available to work various shifts• Ability to understand cooking directions• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, employees, and guests
