PARTS EXPEDITOR From fabrication to final assembly, Stepp is a full manufacturing facility for asphalt maintenance equipment. Our equipment heats, stores, transports, and applies all types of asphaltic material for maintaining the roadways.

Through their primary duties of facilitating the flow of internal parts from various departments in the specified priority sequence, this individual plays a key role in controlling the flow of product through the shop to always ensure maximum throughput.
Full time position with flexible hours - Starting wage range $16-$25 hourly
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receiving and managing the flow of internal parts from various departments Picking parts and kitting of jobs prior to delivery to next cell Transport kitted parts between departments Creating and maintaining shortage list Forecasting required inventory for upcoming projects Communicating inventory needs to Inventory Lead Use company's ERP system to manage inventory data Close completed job tickets Understand job tickets and flow of parts, ensure others receive needed materials on time Manage stocked inventory – bin locations, stocking rules, ie. Safety stock and batch quantities Keep-fill inventory activities Packaging and labeling products and parts – inventory tags for quick and easy identification ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
50LB max lifting requirement Must be able to bend repetitively and stand for extended periods of time Ability to transport product between departments via carrying and/or pushing carts Must be able to reason and partake in critical decision making Accuracy and attention to detail is a must Basic computer skills Minimum Education and Experience Preferred: NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Must be 18 years of age or older High School diploma / GED or equivalent
