Parts Driver/Lot AttendantVenice, FLHyundai of Venice is seeking a well qualified candidate for a part-time/possible full-time position as a parts driver, both delivering and picking up parts at local dealerships/mechanic shops; as well as, to assist as a lot attendant here at the dealership.Compensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive wage, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.ResponsibilitiesDelivers parts to techniciansReceive parts orders and locate stockEnsures that areas of the parts department are clean and properly stocked..Picks up and/or delivers parts to designated accounts when instructed.Ensures the cleanliness of the parts department by disposing of used boxes and trash, sweeping floors and dusting parts bins daily.Return all cores and Warranty parts back to the manufacturerCount inventory to insure accuracyReceive and locate Tires Daily.lifting boxes of up to 50 LBScarrying parts up and down stairs to delivery to techniciansMaintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessaryPlace buyer guides and stock tags in vehiclesKeep lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standardsDrive vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as neededMake key tags for and handle inventory of vehiclesRetrieve and deliver vehicles from property locationsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsAble to work flexible schedulesMust be able to work in all elements ie: heat, rain, wind, etc.Positive attitude, can-do mentality, confident, outgoing personality eagerness to improveHigh school diploma or equivalentProfessional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer serviceReliable transportation to and from work every single dayMust be able to operate standard shift vehiclesPrevious automotive dealership experience a plusValid driver's license and clean driving recordPhysical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, drive, etc.We are an equal opportunity employer.
