Job Description:PRIMANRY FUNCTION: The Parts Counterperson/ Inventory Control sells at retail, parts to all available customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. While overseeing the inventory levels of automotive parts, components, and products within the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective inventory management, maintaining accurate records, and optimizing stock levels to meet production and sales demands.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/DUTIES: Order, receive, and bill all parts.Maintain proper storage of parts.Stock shelves.Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.Keep the department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.Maintain a superior level of customer service.Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of automotive parts and products.Regularly update inventory data to reflect accurate stock levels and transaction history.Other duties as directed by management. Job Requirements:MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player.One to two years of prior automotive parts experience is preferred. Must be computer literate.High School Diploma or GED required.Must have a valid driver's license.
