Our Georgia-Pacific complex is hiring a Parts Coordinator within our Maintenance Department at our Las Vegas facility in Nevada. This self-motivated individual will interface with Operations and Maintenance to utilize available resources to ensure that parts are available for production needs. You will ensure that Production areas receive prompt, effective, and quality service with materials.
Schedule: Monday - Friday

What You Will Do Manage the MP2 database to ensure parts are transferred properly. Verify that the parts are retrieved and kitted for each job specified by the Maintenance Planner. Maintain the parts that are in the staging areas, then communicate with the Planners and Supervisors if parts are unused from a down day. Work with Planners and Mobile Shop to ensure that all parts in Kitting Area or Mobile Shop are audited bi-weekly to verify all parts are coded correctly and present. Review over 28-day list for work orders with parts and work with Planners and Mobile Shop to get them scheduled and completed. Maintain all satellite storeroom areas - audit that stock parts are present, and areas are clean and always organized. (Kitting Area, Chipper Shed, Water Room, and Steel Yard) Get quotes from vendors and order parts, materials, and services identified by mechanics and planners for efficient operations. Maintain keep fill items for Maintenance and Mobile Shop, order items in MP2, and track usage (ex: drill bits, shackles, straps, DEF Fluid, tires) Pick up parts and supplies needed from vendors in the surrounding areas. Be willing to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment. Be required to work in a very fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety, quality, environmental concerns, and production goals. Be willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, or warehouse environment What Will Put You Ahead Ability to identify general parts used in an industrial environment Ability to perform the planning function using MP2 Previous experience in a Parts or Material Coordinator role

Operators work in an industrial environment that is hot, humid, and noisy and work around dust grease, oil and other chemical substances. This is a non-climate-controlled facility, meaning temperatures can be very high in the summer, and cold in the winter.
