We are currently seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Technicians to identify repair parts and components needed for the service & repair projects. Source, order, and expedite delivery of repair parts from internal warehouse, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring timely availability to meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate records of repair parts inventory, including stock levels, usage, and reorder points, using inventory management systems. Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and accuracy of incoming repair parts shipments, noting any discrepancies or damages. Monitor inventory levels and reorder repair parts as needed to prevent stockouts and minimize equipment downtime. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repair parts warranty claims, returns, and exchanges as necessary. Provide support to maintenance teams by expediting urgent repair parts orders and assisting with parts inquiries and requests. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to optimize repair parts management processes and enhance efficiency. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in parts coordination, procurement, or inventory management within an industrial maintenance or repair environment is highly desirable. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Ability to use measuring tools; i.e.: calipers and micrometers. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory tracking. Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with maintenance teams and external vendors. Knowledge of industrial equipment and repair parts terminology is a plus. Pre-employment background check & drug screening required. Pay: · $18 - $22 based on experience
