Salary: $80,000 - $89,000
Term: 12 months with an opportunity for extension
Summary The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) invites applications for a The Hub Support Manager. The Support Manager will play a pivotal role in the coordination and support of the EMI program and its partners on behalf of the LAEDC. This position is designed for a highly organized and dynamic individual who can facilitate efficient collaboration among diverse partners. The Hub Support Manager will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating meetings, reporting, and executing a variety of tasks to bolster the overarching goals of the initiative. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively.

Duties High-Level Coordination : Serve as a liaison on behalf of LAEDC for all EMI partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Facilitate the sharing of information and resources to support the collective objectives of the initiative. Meeting Management : Organize, schedule, and coordinate meetings and workshops for EMI partners. Prepare meeting agendas, oversee logistics, ensure technology setup for virtual meetings, and manage follow-ups to keep all parties informed and engaged. Strategic Scheduling : Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar for all EMI related activities, deadlines, and events to ensure optimal participation and avoid scheduling conflicts. Reporting : Prepare and distribute regular reports on the progress of the initiative, including but not limited to, project milestones, partner engagement levels, and overall initiative health. Collect and analyze data from partners to inform strategic adjustments. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain accurate records of all meetings, decisions, and actions. Ensure that the initiative's operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices. Support Duties : Provide administrative and operational support to further the goals of the initiative. This may include research, data analysis, preparing presentations, and any other duties as required to support the overall success of the program. Ensure all activities duties support the LAEDC's strategic plan, mission, goals, and objectives. Education/Experience: Associates degree from a community college or bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. In addition, if you are a candidate who is proficient in one or more of LA County's thirteen (13) threshold languages that is a plus, but not a requirement.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (or other CRM system).
