Kanga's Indoor Playcenter is looking for a Store Manager who's energetic, fun, and committed to helping children celebrate one of the most important days of their life each year! Description The Store Manager is responsible for making sure the daily operations of Kanga's Indoor Playcenter run smoothly by supporting staff and handling administrative duties.
Responsibilities Assist the ownership team in realizing or exceeding store objectives Facilitate a fun work environment for employees Operate the store in compliance with published processes, procedures, and guidelines Manage and maintain employee schedules to meet store goals and objectives Create and maintain various records, as needed Assist in planning, development, and execution of promotional activities Train employees on store operations, first aid, and emergency procedures Ensure the safety of our guests and employees Supervise, coach, and mentor employees Recognize and reward superior employee performance Recognize and address employee performance deficiencies Assist with establishing a strong brand identity in the community Practice inventory control and re-order as required Ensure the store is always clean and free of safety hazards Ensure amusements are always in safe operating condition Immediately notify the ownership team of safety or security issues Have fun! Requirements Experience in family entertainment center, restaurant, or retail store management is a plus.
Candidates for this position must have at least a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent. A degree in business administration is an advantage.
