The Custodial Technician (C-Tech) is responsible for:
Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all members of the school community Collaborating with the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) to develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning plans for the building and grounds Executing the cleaning plans Restocking bathroom supplies Removing trash and recycling from the building Responding to urgent custodial needs in a timely fashion Assisting with cafeteria services and cleaning, as needed Working occasional weekends and vacation periods Taking on other tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance and Operations Position Requirements:
Belief in the mission and values of Crescent City Schools At least two years of experience as a custodian or janitor Experience in schools and/or around school-aged children preferred Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds The position involves daily exposure to cleaning agents, including bleach This is an in-person role About Crescent City Schools
