Job DescriptionThe lab of Dr. Matthew Weston, Ph.D. is seeking a responsible and well-organized Part Time Research Assistant who can support research activities in the laboratory. The projects in Dr. Weston's lab focus on the study gene variants that cause human childhood epilepsies and seeks to understand the neurological physiology. This work uses electroencephalography (EEG) and in vivo Ca++ imaging to detect, localize, and characterize seizures and other brain activities.The primary responsibility of this position is assisting in organizing, curating, and analyzing data for in vitro and in vivo research projects. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, keeping careful records of data flow and interactions with participants in a laboratory setting.
