Part-Time Or Full Time Nanny For Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Family #Ft

Part-time or Full-time live-out nanny required for a warm Brooklyn (Bay Ridge) family with 2 children (ages 2 and 5) starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their children in a fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate way. Daily school pick up, snack/meal prep and transport to and from activities will be expected. 
To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone positive, active and have flexibility in their schedule based on family needs. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, experienced with toddler and school aged milestones and who appreciates open communication with the family. This role is perfect for someone who is patient and kind (son has sensory / dysregulation needs) and is willing to partner with parents and adhere to limited screen time.
Location: Bay Ridge, NY
Start date: ASAP
Days/times: For Part-time hours: until September Monday - Friday: 11:30am-5:30pm, September onwards Monday through Friday 2:00pm-5:30pm. Flexibility to cover longer days during Spring/Summer break is desired. 
Full-Time: Family open to guaranteeing 35-40 hours for the ideal candidate. This role would include more house related duties when the children are not home (eg. laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, etc). 
Children: 2 children: son (b. 2018) and daughter (b. 2021)
Conditions: $25 - $35 per hour* plus unlimited metrocard, public holidays and full two weeks paid leave per year

Authorization to work in the US A minimum of 3 years experience as a nanny, 5 years preferred A well-suited demeanor for working with toddlers Needs to be able to handle taking care of both children at the same time Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc Experience/willingness to assist with household tasks as needed (light housekeeping, errands, packages) Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions A professional appearance A flexible schedule  A valid passport (or willingness to obtain)
