Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist.• Administer anesthesia to patients during surgical and medical procedures.• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure their safety and comfort.• Assist with patient positioning and preparation for procedures.• Communicate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.• Maintain accurate records of anesthesia dosage and patient vital signs.• Manage and respond to anesthesia-related emergencies.• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements
• Active CRNA license in the state of South Carolina.• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.• Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).• BLS and ACLS certification.• Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.• Ability to prioritize and multitask.• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and schedules.
