Part-Time Caregiver

Job Summary:Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston and Fort Bend Cty, TX, is seeking a part-time caregiver to provide compassionate and quality care to our senior clients in the Houston Texas area. This individual will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks, promoting their safety and well-being, and providing emotional support.Responsibilities:Providing personal care services such as grooming, bathing, and toileting for senior clientsAssisting with meal preparation and feeding, according to clients' dietary needsPerforming light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying up living areasProviding transportation to and from appointments, errands, and social outingsMonitoring clients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the appropriate medical professionalsAdministering medications as prescribed by doctorsAssisting with mobility and exercise to promote physical well-beingProviding companionship and emotional support to seniorsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience as a caregiver or in the healthcare fieldCPR and First Aid certificationAbility to lift and move up to 50 poundsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningAlways Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer.
