Our warm, cozy dining area embodies the same relaxed style as Willows Lodge, making Barking Frog one of the most widely desired restaurants in Woodinville and the wider Seattle area.
SUMMARY Provides guests with a positive, welcoming and gracious first impression of the Barking Frog, both in person and on the phone.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
Prepares beverages and expedites food orders.
Stocks and maintains necessary items in host stand.
Communicates closely with Manager on Duty.
Works as a team player to maintain a courteous, professional and helpful attitude towards all guests.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Wage: $20.50Hour + Tips Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan 5.5 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 20 hours each week Qualifications: Previous high-end dining room host experience preferred Familiarity with Open Table preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenenga and weekends is crucial Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Someone with excellent communication skills Current WA State Food Handler's Permit Current WA State MAST Permit Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $20.50/Hr. - $20.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
