This position will focusing on assisting the academic operations team with preparation and execution of all aspects of courses, projects and initiatives and other academic processes including use of academic technology tools.This is a part-time 20-25 hour/week position. Flexible hours. 95% RemoteESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.In addition to executing the explicit job responsibilities listed in the job description all LFGSM employees are expected to actively seek out and demonstrate ways to improve the quality of their work, reduce costs, reduce cycle time, and pursue innovative means of adding value in their areas of responsibility.Academic Program SupportProvide support to the Senior Manager of Course & Faculty Development in curriculum redesign and revision.Proofread course shells and syllabi for grammar and accuracy.Oversee and manage term courses for link validations, rubrics, due dates.Inputs and updates information in faculty databaseResponsible for reporting faculty information for payroll.Manage faculty scheduling processes.Collect, organize, and process faculty agreements and contracts.Responsible for scheduling and maintaining term timeline for faculty.Schedule and facilitate training sessions in LMS and video conferencing.Coordinate faculty meetings and take meeting minutes.Manage and respond to students' support tickets.Coordinates logistics for capstone project meetings.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.Prior experience in graduate level higher education or a related field is desirable.Excellent Customer service skills.Proven customer-centric thinking is essential.Effective, polished oral and written skills.Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.Professionalism, reliability, and punctuality are critical.Project coordination, and organizational skills including attention to detail and accuracy are required.Professional presence and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.The ability to think creatively and respond promptly and appropriately.Ability to apply common sense understanding and logical thinking to a wide range of practical issues as well as to always carry out instructions independently and exercise good business judgment.Ability to understand School policies and procedures that apply to a variety of situations.The ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is required.
