As they continue to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.
The Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist will support our client's finance team in processing payments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to our client's mission from the comfort of your own home. Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities: Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders and expense reports Ensure proper approval and coding of invoices according to company guidelines Correspond with vendors to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary documentation Prepare and process electronic payments through various platforms Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed Maintain organized records and files, both electronically and physically Collaborate with internal teams to address any accounts payable-related inquiries or issues Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the accounts payable function Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements: 2+ years of AP Specialist experience required Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week during standard working hours Monday-Friday. The role can go into the office if based in Tampa or can work remote in central or eastern time zones
