Qualifications and Requirements Minimum associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, bachelors or masters preferred. Experience working with young children Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal and professional integrity combined with a positive and flexible attitude Responsibilities Plan, teach, evaluate and support students in order to provide a flexible, balanced, and developmentally appropriate curriculum experience for children and their families. Communication on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule with families in order to foster home and school connections. Communicate student progress clearly and effectively to students, parents and faculty, through emails, meetings, and formal student reports. Meet regularly with other faculty members and administration in order to be informed, current, and progressive in current education trends. Provide instrumental support to admissions by welcoming families, participating in parent nights, open houses, and social events to promote The Tatnall School. Engage in professional development to further knowledge and awareness of pedagogy, curriculum, technology and child development.
