If so, our Parks Programs Coordinator I position with LCRA Parks may be the perfect career! LCRA Parks is a dynamic park system that strives on providing amazing experiences to the community. From rock climbing and kayaking to UTVs and ropes courses, we have it all. This position will be responsible for holding the standard of our parks high to achieve LCRA Parks' goal of being the most dynamic park system in the nation. We look forward to receiving your application!You will be trusted to:- At an entry level, facilitate a wide array of fun outdoor recreation and natural science education programs while ensuring the safety of participants.- Receive instruction and guidance from the Supervisor, and more experienced colleagues.- Assist with the delivery of recreational programs including hiking, biking, zip lining, ropes course, kayaking, rafting, UTV tours and more.- Assist with the delivery of educational programs for schools, community and corporate groups.- Conduct pre-program orientation with participants on program and safety rules.- Implement effective safety measures when necessary.- Repair and maintain equipment for safe use and operation.You qualify with:- One or more years of relevant experience.- Driver's LicenseYou are a great fit with:- Experience working in the outdoors.- Experience with teaching or facilitating instructions- Experience in leadership qualitiesYou gain:- Competitive salary & medical, dental, vision and legal insurance- Paid time off, including time for vacation, sick and family care leave- 401(k) match up to 8% that includes a student loan 401(k) contribution program option- Life and disability insurance- Wellness program including wellness incentive- Extensive learning & development programsAnd more - all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment.Equal Opportunity EmployerLCRA provides equal employment opportunities and a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
