Parents As Teachers

Job Description:
You will partner with families to provide personalized instruction, and deliver research-based materials on child development. This role involves administering child developmental screenings, including language, fine and gross motor skills, social and emotional development, and health and physical development for children from birth to kindergarten completion.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting and collaborating with children and families, with documented home-visiting experience.
Employment Requirements:
Must pass Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance.
Possess a valid PA Driver's License.
Must pass a physical exam and drug screening.

Work Expectations:
Implement the National Parents as Teachers curriculum faithfully.
Schedule and conduct bi-weekly or monthly home-visits both in person and virtually as needed.
Submit required program documentation in a timely manner.
Coordinate services with other community programs to support family needs.
Participate in required trainings and meetings.

Administer and review annual parent surveys and assessments.

Travel as required within Erie County and Pennsylvania.
Physical Requirements:
Adaptability to prolonged sitting/standing, occasional stooping, bending, lifting, and reaching.
Ability to work effectively in team environments and independently.
Strong observation, communication, and writing skills.

Salary: $ 37,000.00 Per Hour
